High School Student Facilitators

Welcome to Jimiri! If you’re visiting this site, that means you’re interested in promoting racial justice by building friendships, understanding, and empathy across racial lines. With our Youth Leadership Program, the solutions begin with you!

Every Sunday afternoon (for 8 weeks, from April 6 through June 8, 2025), you and your co-facilitators will meet with your Jimiri group. You’ll help them build lasting friendships through common-interest activities and group-building exercises, and hopefully you’ll help inspire them to become future leaders in the cause of racial justice in America. 

We offer paid positions and volunteer positions for high-school students. Applications are due February 7, 2025. Weekly training/planning meetings begin on February 10.
